The problem

Most budgeting apps want your bank login and keep your spending in their cloud. You trade your privacy for a pie chart, then forget to open it.

I wanted an app that needs no account, works offline, and makes sticking to a budget feel like a game.

Three decisions that made it work

01

Local first, by design

Your data lives in SQLite on the phone, through Drizzle. No account, no waiting on a network, and it works in airplane mode. Cloud sync exists and stays opt-in.

02

Budgets that suggest themselves

A rule engine reads your spending and proposes budgets. Suggested and manual budgets are stored apart, so a suggestion never overwrites a choice you made.

03

Money as whole numbers

Every amount is stored as an integer in cents, never a float, so totals never drift by a fraction. Deletes are soft and migrations only move forward.

$19.99 is stored as 1999

Wall it is a real product on its way to the App Store, so the code stays private. I'm happy to walk you through it on a call. Let's talk.

Designed to feel calm about money

Pine#0F3D3E
Mint#7FE9C3
Honey#F2B441
Ink#0B1E1D

Deep pine and fresh mint. Money is stressful enough, so the app stays calm and saves bright honey for wins.

Streaks, achievements and a gentle coach turn checking your budget into a habit instead of a chore.

What I'd build next

  • Launch on the App Store
  • Subscriptions through StoreKit
  • More coach insights from your own spending
